Dotted Suit Project

Workshop and competition

From January to April 2016, The Dotted Suit Project partners with The New Haberdashery to collect the most extraordinary stories about garments at the Temporary Fashion Museum. Participants can win a custom made garment by The New Haberdashery. On Sunday January 17th, Esther Muñoz Grootveld, founder of The Dotted Suit Project, hosted a workshop to capture stories of visitors on the spot.

This project is part of the programme track Things and Materials and the folder Material innovation.

Fashion has quietly renewed the very idea of renewal by constantly selling the past as a future, thereby framing current reality. This contrasts sharply with the idea that renewal always stems from technological innovation.
